AROUND THE GLOBE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL
Dear Members and Subscribers,
This year, the Around the Globe International Music Festival consists of four independent online music competitions open worldwide for all levels and ages. Our objective is to discover and inspire artists and music enthusiasts of all ages by promoting their talent and musicianship while providing awards to facilitate the launch of their international careers. We extend an invitation to applicants from all over the globe to participate in our four distinguished music competitions.
These competitions encompass both soloists and ensembles performing on either piano or accordion. A wide variety of musical styles will be represented in each category, including jazz piano.
We also seek to foster interest in piano composition, stimulate creativity and self-expression, and, most importantly, we wholeheartedly support the generation of original works for this instrument — an emphasis that Around the Globe Music & Arts has ardently maintained since the inception of its piano festivals.
Furthermore, the Young Musicologist competition is designed to inspire and motivate young individuals to research and articulate their thoughts on contemporary composers and their music. This initiative encompasses a wide range of musical cultures and styles. The competition is not just about winning but about enhancing students' creativity, analytical thinking, and critical observation skills, providing them with practical benefits while expanding their musical knowledge.
